WINGMEN EXPERTS
About Wingmen Experts
It almost always started with the same sentence: “We have a problem.”
Wingmen Experts did not emerge from a conventional consulting model. For many years, our work began with specialist assignments where a company had reached a point it could not solve on its own.
“We have a problem with our sales organisation.”
“Our CRM no longer reflects reality.”
“Our processes no longer work the way they used to.”
“Our software cannot support the new requirement.”
“Business and IT are talking about the same issue but mean different things.”
The visible issue was rarely the real problem. A CRM issue often turned out to be a process issue. A forecasting problem often came down to weak qualification or unclear ownership. A technical requirement exposed a business process that had never been defined properly. And systems that had worked reliably for years suddenly had to support new products, additional business lines, automation or AI.
That is where Wingmen Experts works today: Revenue Architecture, Revenue Operations and Solution Architecture for established B2B companies.
As the business grows, complexity grows with it
Wingmen works primarily with established mid-sized companies and scale-ups. The problem is not that nothing works. The problem is that what used to work no longer scales reliably.
Pipeline and forecasting become harder to control. CRM structures no longer reflect the real sales process. Presales, Sales, Operations and IT work from different perspectives. Handoffs become more complicated, legacy systems face new requirements, and additional tools increase overall complexity.
Björn Wesarg knows this pattern not only from client projects, but from his own entrepreneurial experience. While building and scaling businesses, processes were sometimes formalised too late, knowledge remained with individuals for too long, and systems did not always grow at the same pace as the business.
Some of the scaling mistakes Wingmen recognises in client organisations today are patterns Björn has experienced first-hand. That is why the work does not default to the next standard solution. It starts with the actual cause.
Two perspectives that are often separated inside companies
Wingmen Experts brings together two areas of experience that often operate separately in organisations.
Commercial
On the commercial side, Björn Wesarg brings experience in entrepreneurship, complex B2B solution selling, Presales and Revenue Operations. This includes work across pipeline, forecasting, qualification, opportunity management, CRM and complex buying decisions – and first-hand experience of how quickly those structures become difficult to control as a business grows.
Engineering
On the technical side, Björn’s background spans software development, enterprise systems, data architecture and Solution Architecture. His experience includes software and business systems, integrations, large-scale data and search systems, and translating business requirements into technical solutions together with business teams and engineering.
This allows Wingmen to work with management, Sales and Presales just as effectively as with IT, developers and technology partners.
Where Revenue Architecture meets Solution Architecture
The hardest problems usually sit between functions.
Revenue Architecture structures the commercial architecture behind revenue: sales processes, qualification, pipeline, forecasting, CRM, ownership and handoffs between Marketing, Sales, Presales, Customer Success and Operations.
Solution Architecture connects business requirements with technical reality: existing systems, data, interfaces and legacy software, as well as new requirements created by automation, AI, MCP or new business lines.
The two perspectives belong together. A new sales process will not work if the CRM and system landscape cannot support it. A technically clean solution delivers little value if it does not solve the underlying business problem.
Creating clarity before complexity becomes expensive
When a company comes to Wingmen with “We have a problem”, the work does not begin with a ready-made solution. The first step is to clarify what is actually happening, where the root cause lies and what needs to be solved now.
Only then does Wingmen decide whether the issue requires Revenue Architecture, Solution Architecture, process work, systems integration, Presales structures or a combination of these.
The aim is not to create as much change as possible. It is to build a solution that fits the business, can be implemented and works in day-to-day operations.
Founder-led. Direct responsibility.
Wingmen Experts is founder-led. Björn Wesarg works directly on the analysis, architecture and key decisions of each engagement. Additional specialists or development teams are brought in only when implementation requires them — following the same model used in previous systems projects. Clients can implement with their own teams or have Wingmen support the implementation. The architecture, decision basis and roadmap remain with the client. There is no dependency on a subsequent implementation engagement.
The experience Wingmen Experts is built on
Wingmen Experts was founded by Björn Wesarg. His background combines more than 15 years of entrepreneurship, B2B sales, Presales and technology.
This includes:
- developing enterprise software and business systems that were used by more than 150 companies
- B2B solution selling and Presales for complex products and services
- building CRM, sales and Revenue Operations structures
- developing large-scale data, search and integration systems
- business analysis, requirements engineering and Solution Architecture between business teams and development
This experience shapes how Wingmen Experts approaches business problems: commercial and technical questions are treated as parts of the same system rather than in isolation.
Rooted in Düsseldorf. Based in Kraków. At home in Europe.
Wingmen Experts has its entrepreneurial roots in Düsseldorf. Today, Wingmen works from Kraków with mid-sized companies and scale-ups across Germany, DACH and Europe.
Client projects are delivered remotely or on site depending on what makes sense for the task. Analysis, alignment and implementation often work efficiently in distributed teams. When proximity to the team, the process or an important decision is required, Wingmen works on site.
This allows Wingmen to combine close familiarity with the German and DACH market with a broader European perspective.
If you are saying: “We have a problem.”
That is usually a good place to start.
In a Clarity Call, Wingmen looks at the situation with you, structures the problem and assesses whether Wingmen Experts is the right partner for the task.
